Results Tab

Once the "Design" button is clicked on the Design tab, RedSpec™ analyzes the member. The Results tab is automatically activated to show the outcome.

For I-joists and beams, the text below the solutions grid describes how the member performed in the various strength and serviceability checks. Click the links below for more information on these design controls:

• Shear

• Moment

• Deflection

• Reaction

• Bearing

• Floor Performance

Open-web truss results include deflections and reactions. The truss design is labeled as "feasible" or "not feasible." These terms reflect the fact that the RedSpec™ truss design is preliminary. The finished truss design will be produced by RedSpec� engineering prior to manufacture.
